Employment and Labor Sampling Design

NERA's sampling statisticians have designed research addressing issues of discriminatory promotion and hiring practices in a number of EEOC-related cases. We have designed samples that allow clients to investigate in a timely and cost-efficient manner the extent to which discriminatory practices are prevalent in their companies. Our experts are skilled at designing samples that permit analysis of different subgroups of employees by using information about the employees' departments, EEO categories, job functions, or other relevant characteristics to design and select the sample. Our work also includes examining statistical evidence used in litigation on race, gender, and age-based hiring and promotion practices.
