The Situation
In 1994, The United Kingdom Department of National Heritage organized a consortium on the privatization of the BBC's transmission network.
NERA's Role
Appointed as part of the consortium, NERA advised on appropriate regulatory framework and the range of firms that should be permitted (on competition grounds) to own the privatized entity.
