Contributions by Dr. Steven Schwartz
This book, published by the American Bar Association's Section of Antitrust Law, explores the economics of product distribution and examines whether the courts have formulated legal standards consistent with those economic principles, focusing on the sale of goods through dealers, distributors, and franchisees. In a chapter to which he contributed, NERA Senior Vice President Dr. Steven Schwartz -- along with former Vice President Dr. G. Steven Olley -- presents a discussion on customer and territorial restraints, addressing exclusive distributorships, vertical market division, and location restrictions; the economic impact of voluntary exclusive distribution agreements; and areas of primary responsibility.
