Industry experts convened at the sixth annual Structured Products Association (SPA) autumn expo in New York City on 18 October 2010 to discuss the structured investments market. NERA Senior Vice President Dr. Patrick Conroy participated in a session on legal, regulatory, and compliance issues called "Does the Dodd-Frank Bill Create Vast New Opportunities for the Industry?" Dr. Conroy discussed the studies to be undertaken by regulators as well as the potential effects of new regulations.
