Mike King, Senior Vice President and Chair of NERA's Energy, Environment, and Network Industries Practice, joined leading project developers, capital providers, and other experts from the finance community at this conference in New Orleans on 11-13 January 2011. Mr. King participated in a session on the future of the power sector. He presented a series of possible scenarios of key factors driving the economics of power generation technologies (such as environmental policy, regulation, fuel prices, economic growth, and cost of capital). A group of industry executives then discussed the implications of those scenarios for the future of the power sector and its development.
