Crowell & Moring LLP hosted a briefing in conjunction with the Arab Bankers Association of North America (ABANA) that provided an update on economic activity and opportunities in the Middle East, best practices in the alternative dispute resolution arena, the latest legislative and legal developments, and the impact of the political and social upheaval that has affected some of the Middle East's economies. NERA Senior Vice President Dr. Faten Sabry was invited to share her insights on the use of economic analysis in the alternative dispute resolution arena and to provide an overview of recent economic developments. She was joined by Mr. Arif Ali, the Chair of the International Dispute Resolution Practice at Crowell & Moring; Samaa Haridi, Partner at Crowell & Moring; and Mr. Hussein Khalifa of MVision Private Equity Advisers, who spoke on behalf of ABANA.
