NERA Vice President Dr. Sharon Brown-Hruska was interviewed by Platts Energy Week TV for a segment that aired on Sunday, 24 July 2011. Dr. Brown-Hruska, a former Commissioner and Acting Chairman of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), shared her thoughts on the CFTC's hits and misses during the last two years, given the very aggressive agenda Gary Gensler laid out upon taking over, as well as the mandates of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
