NERA Senior Vice President Dr. Faten Sabry was invited by the Southern District of New York Chapter and Securities Law Section of the Federal Bar Association to participate in a three-panel discussion on mortgage-backed securities (MBS) in New York City on 28 March 2012. Dr. Sabry delivered a presentation entitled "Asset-backed Securitizations -- What Happened ?" The panel discussion examined the role and history of MBS and securitization, as well as the credit crisis and the resulting MBS securities litigation, and was followed by a Q&A session.
