The University of Notre Dame and the Nasdaq OMX Educational Foundation held a conference in Washington, DC on 7-8 June 2012 to discuss recent issues and developments in financial regulation. On the first day of the conference, NERA Vice President Dr. James Overdahl moderated a panel on high-frequency trading. The conference also included the presentation of numerous academic papers in all areas related to financial regulation. NERA awarded prizes to the first- and second-place papers.
