The American Law Institute and American Bar Association held its 15th annual course on patent disputes in Scottsdale, Arizona on 28-29 February 2008. As part of the course, NERA Vice President Dr. Christine Meyer participated in a mock patent jury trial, which featured a panel of judges, lawyers, and economists discussing current topics in patent litigation. Dr. Meyer served as defendant's expert on patent damages. She also took part in a separate panel entitled "eBay and Its Aftermath: How It Has Been Applied and What It Means Now as to the Availability of Permanent Injunctions."
