The ABA Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section hosted its 16th annual spring CLE meeting in Phoenix on 29-31 March 2007. On the last day of the conference, NERA Senior Vice President Dr. Faten Sabry participated in a panel discussion entitled "Transferring Mass Tort Risks." Dr. Sabry and her co-panelists examined the strategies and legal ramifications associated with quantifying mass torts and assessing and executing risk management agreements. Dr. Sabry discussed how to quantify mass torts risks in a rapidly changing tort system.
