The seminar examined opportunities, risks, and strategies for private equity firms in the current economic climate. Dr. Mayer took part in a panel, "Fiduciary Duty and Corporate Governance Issues for Troubled Companies and Investments," in which she and three co-panelists discussed the conflicts of fiduciary duties that may be faced by private equity sponsors of troubled companies.
