Washington, DC
30 May 2007
Hosted By: the Communications Industry Committee, Computer Industry and Internet Committee, and the Economics Committee of the American Bar Association's Antitrust Section

The American Bar Association's Antitrust Section hosted the first of a three-session program on the fundamentals of antitrust in Washington, DC on 30 May 2007. NERA Special Consultant Dr. William Taylor participated in a panel discussion on economic analyses relevant to the telecommunications marketplace, such as market definition, market power assessment, and assessment of conduct -- including analysis of pricing behavior in markets affected by rapid technological change and raising rivals' costs and market foreclosure. The program also focused on the impact of regulation and antitrust enforcement on investment and productivity growth in the US.
