The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania hosted a symposium in Philadelphia on 13-17 June 2007 to provide an inter-disciplinary discussion of recent theoretical, empirical, and methodological advances in the study of choice and decision making, and to set an agenda for future work. On 14 June, NERA Vice President Professor Kenneth Train presented a tutorial entitled "Estimation Strategies for Discrete Choice Models." The tutorial examined different types of estimation procedures as well as the advantages and limitations of each.
