Industry participants convened at this marcus evans conference in Vienna on 19-20 November 2007 to discuss proven contract strategies available to LNG projects for minimizing risks, the latest technological solutions for modernizing contracting and risk management, and the various problems operators have faced. NERA Associate Director Dr. Fabrizio Hernández chaired the second day of the conference and delivered a presentation on regulatory risk in LNG Terminals in Europe. Dr. Hernández covered access regime and capacity allocation to LNG terminals, determination of capacity value, and the impact on integrated projects along the LNG chain, among other topics.
