NERA Economic Consulting Establishes Presence in Canada

New York/ 1 July 2008 -- NERA Economic Consulting, a leading global provider of economic advice and analysis in business, legal, and regulatory matters, today announced that it has acquired the Toronto-based strategy, finance, and economics consultancy Berenblut Consulting Inc. The acquisition brings an exceptional team of economics, finance, accounting, valuation, and strategy specialists to NERA, and marks the opening of NERA's first office in Canada.

Mark L. Berenblut, founder and President of Berenblut Consulting, is a recognized expert in the areas of finance, economics, valuation, and dispute resolution. He has extensive experience working in the US, Canada, and the UK in a range of areas including securities and business valuation, damage quantification, financial investigation, and complex litigation. He is recognized by the UK's Academy of Experts, and has frequently served as an expert witness, arbitrator, and mediator.
