NERA President Dr. Andrew Carron Elected to SEC Historical Society Board of Trustees

New York City/4 June 2007 -- NERA Economic Consulting, a leading global provider of economic research and analysis in business, legal, and regulatory matters, today announced that Andrew Carron, NERA's President, has been elected to the Board of Trustees for the SEC Historical Society.
Based in NERA's New York City office, Dr. Carron has been President of NERA since January 2006, and with the firm for more than a decade. He formerly chaired the firm's Securities and Finance Practice from 2003 through 2006, and has served on NERA's Board of Directors since 2004.
Dr. Carron has more than 30 years of securities and economics experience. Prior to joining NERA, he spent 10 years at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he served as a Director in Global Risk Management and in Fixed Income Research. He also worked as a manager in bond analysis at Lehman Brothers and was a Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution. Dr. Carron has authored books and articles on regulatory economics and on financial products, institutions, and markets. He holds MA, M.Phil, and PhD degrees in Economics from Yale University and a BA from Harvard University.
