Experience
Ms. McHugh is a Senior Consultant in NERA's Securities and Finance Practice specializing in the analysis of economic issues arising in securities litigation matters, including damages estimation. She has consulted and provided analysis on projects involving mutual fund market timing, the effects of alleged mismarking of hedge fund portfolios on investors, and the valuation of derivatives. She has also worked extensively in the area of broker-dealer disputes concerning investments in equities, derivatives, and fixed-income products, including auction-rate securities.
Ms. McHugh received her MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and her BA, magna cum laude, in economics and French from Amherst College, where she was awarded three departmental prizes in economics. She has also completed coursework in finance and mathematical finance at New York University.
