Experience
Dr. Reddy specializes in theoretical and econometric analyses of issues related to antitrust, intellectual property, regulated industries, and environmental regulation.
While at NERA, he has worked on a variety of projects that include analyzing liability issues in antitrust and patent infringement cases in the software industry; estimating damages in biotech and pharmaceutical antitrust cases; developing and using models of motor vehicle demand to analyze impacts of emissions regulations; reviewing procedures used by electric and gas utilities to model the effects of weather on demand; and reviewing competitive implications of a proposed utility merger.
Dr. Reddy has estimated damages in cases involving patent infringement, breach of contract, and antitrust, as well as the assessment of liability in antitrust cases in the software, financial services, semiconductor, postal, railroad, air travel, telecommunications, tobacco, pharmaceutical, and gas distribution industries. Before joining NERA, Dr. Reddy applied advanced econometric techniques in constructing models for the telecommunications, electric, gas, and nonferrous metals industries.
