Experience
Ms. Lowe has six years' experience as an economist working within the areas of energy, infrastructure regulation, securities litigation, competition, consumer protection, personal injury-related liabilities, and commercial macroeconomics.
Prior to joining NERA, Ms. Lowe was employed as an economist within the Compliance, Regulatory, and Merger Divisions of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and the Economics Division of Macquarie Bank. In her capacity as an economist within the ACCC, her responsibilities included assessing asymmetric risks, rates of return, forecast volumes, cost allocation methodologies, financial modeling, and examining anticompetitive practices. As a Research Assistant and Associate Economist in Macquarie Bank's Economic Division, she examined macroeconomic trends within Australia and across Asia. Ms. Lowe has obtained a Master of Economics from the University of Sydney, a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, and a Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance and Economics from the University of Technology Sydney.
