Experience

Mr. Gonnet is a Vice President in NERA's Global Transfer Pricing Practice. Based in Paris, he specializes in the areas of transfer pricing, intellectual property, and valuation. For a number of years, he has advised multinational companies in transfer pricing system design and implementation, business restructurings, and intellectual property and business valuation.

In recent years, Mr. Gonnet has been particularly involved with transfer pricing design, intellectual property, and valuation projects for multinationals in France, Europe, and China in a range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, retail, luxury, food and beverage, telecommunications, chemicals, commodities, and software. He also acts as an expert economist in advance pricing agreements and tax audits in France, Europe, and China.

Mr. Gonnet is listed in International Tax Review's World's Leading Transfer Pricing Advisors by Expert Guide. He has authored a number of publications on the economics of transfer pricing. Most recently, he wrote a series of articles dedicated to location-specific advantages, providing an economics-based analytical framework for governments and multinationals in the BRICS countries and other emerging economies. He is also a frequent speaker at transfer pricing, intellectual property, and valuation conferences and training workshops, and has presented to tax authorities in France, Europe, and China.

Before joining NERA, Mr. Gonnet was an economist at KPMG. He holds a Master of Science in Management from HEC, Paris (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales) and a Master of Science in International Taxation from Paris II Law University.
