Chris Stehling is a finance, management, and operations leader with over 25 years of experience. He has served as NERA’s Chief Financial Officer since 2014 and is responsible for firmwide financial oversight and management, providing strategic and operational insight, and supporting key decisions and operations. He is also a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Board of Directors.

Mr. Stehling has extensive expertise across various aspects of accounting, finance, management, and operations. He has helped shape firm strategy and drive financial and operational success. He has served on multiple firm management and operations committees and has held multiple finance and operations senior management roles at leading global firms.

Prior to joining NERA, Mr. Stehling served as the Senior Vice President and Head of Finance and Accounting at Moelis & Company, where he was responsible for building the finance, treasury, and tax functions from the start-up phase through the IPO. He also oversaw aspects of firm operations including human capital operations, technology, project management, and various insurance programs during the bank’s rapid expansion. Mr. Stehling served as Vice President of Finance at Goldman Sachs and Director & Deputy Controller at UBS Investment Bank and started his career at Deloitte where he obtained his CPA license.
