Two articles authored by NERA experts have been nominated for Concurrences 2024 Antitrust Writing Awards.

Senior Managing Director James Mellsop and Director C.-Philipp Heller, along with Telefónica Senior Economics Manager Rober Lauer, co-authored the article “Is Lax Enforcement of Antitrust Policy to Blame for an Increase in Market Power?” which is nominated in the Academic Articles category. The article reviews economic literature on market power and antitrust law, discussing perspectives beyond consumer welfare and the challenge of linking antitrust policy to market concentration.
