Edgar, Dunn & Company's Risk Managers Roundtable, which consists of leading players in the US credit card industry, hosted this panel discussion in San Francisco on 1-2 April 2008. The roundtable invited NERA Vice President Shuchi Satwah, an expert in financial risk management, to share her perspective on issues related to the recent credit crisis -- including the subprime meltdown, distinguishing features of the current crises, and the types of disputes that may arise from it. The panel also discussed the impact of the current crises on consumer credit, and potential early warning signals to where additional risk may manifest itself.
