Based in London, Toni Pincott is a Managing Director in NERA's International Arbitration Practice. Ms. Pincott is a highly experienced testifying expert witness, having acted on over 350 complex commercial cases as expert witness or advisor since 1988 and given evidence on many occasions, including witness conferencing. Ms. Pincott's disputes and international arbitration experience includes bilateral investment treaty disputes, international joint venture and Sale & Purchase agreement disputes, as well corruption and competition investigations. Her work encompasses business and share valuations, losses arising from breach of contract and warranty, loss of profit and business interruption claims, post-acquisition disputes, as well as insurance and negligence claims.  Sector experience includes retail, technology, pharmaceutical, real estate, energy, water, distribution and transportation. Her appointments have been under various institutional forums including ICC, LCIA, SIAC, HKIAC, Stockholm Chamber of Commerce as well as private arbitration, while her cases have covered disputes in the UK, Africa, Europe, Russia, Eastern Europe, the Far East, and North America.

Ms. Pincott's role has also included acting as court and parties' appointed Single Joint Expert, Expert Determination under the President’s Appointment Scheme of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and as Assessor on complex insurance disputes.

A CEDR qualified mediator, she has acted as lead mediator on 11 commercial disputes, and several as assistant mediator and assistant arbitrator.  

She is a non-practicing Barrister, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, as well as a member of the Academy of Experts and Expert Witness Institute.

Ms. Pincott has been included in the International Who's Who of Commercial Arbitration for three years as one of the world's leading arbitration expert witnesses. She is cited in the 2014 edition for her "very impressive mind, perceptive and practical" and the 2015 edition reports praise for the international breadth of her practice, and her "market-leading experience." Nominees are selected based upon independent survey work with both global attorneys and in house Counsel. One cannot subscribe to be included.

Prior to joining NERA, Ms. Pincott set up the London office of the StoneTurn Group, and formerly headed the London Forensic Accounting and Disputes practice for Grant Thornton UK.
