NERA Vice President Dr. Sharon Brown-Hruska delivered a presentation at this annual conference, hosted by Barclays Capital in New York City on 13 October 2009. The theme of this year's conference was controversies and issues in the field of quantitative equity asset management. Dr. Brown-Hruska participated in a panel discussion entitled "Regulation of Securities Markets: A Look to the Future." Moderated by Ajay Nagpal of Barclays Capital, the panel also featured James Chanos of Kynikos Associates, Mike Mendelson of AQR Capital, Paul Roth of Schulte Roth & Zabel, and Erik Sirri of Babson College.
