The European American Tax Institute held its first annual Transfer Pricing Congress in London on 11 June 2010. The event focused on current issues and perennial problems in transfer pricing. The event was chaired by NERA Special Consultant Pim Fris, who gave the chairman's introduction and closing remarks. As part of the program, Director Dr. Emmanuel Llinares participated in a panel on "Business Restructuring," which addressed the changing definition of intangibles, IP valuation and structuring, and techniques for function shifting and exit charges.
