NERA Director Dr. Sharon Brown-Hruska, former Commissioner and Acting Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), will participate in a panel discussion at the Securities Enforcement Forum. The Forum is known as the preeminent securities enforcement conference, and typically attracts current and former regulators, securities enforcement and white collar attorneys, in-house counsel and compliance professionals, and other industry influencers.

Dr. Brown-Hruska will participate on a panel discussion called “Financial Firm Spotlight—Asset Management, Private Equity, Hedge Funds and More.” Her talk will cover recent SEC and CFTC allegations of spoofing and manipulation cases against financial firms, “flash crashes” and associated litigation, and developments in anti-money laundering compliance.
