NERA Managing Director and Chair of the Intellectual Property Practice Dr. Alan Cox led a panel discussion on “Reasonable Royalty in FRAND” at the 2017 National Technology Law Conference in Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Cox's panel led a lively discussion of the current status of IP and antitrust regulation and litigation, particularly on FRAND issues in Asia.

The conference, presented by the National Chiao Tung University School of Law, was held on 25-26 October. The event was moderated by The Honorable Hsing-Jung Lin, who serves as a judge on the Supreme Administrative Court. Other participants include antitrust and IP regulators, judges, lawyers and law school faculty from the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Germany and the United States.
