NERA Director Dr. Sharon Brown-Hruska will participate on the panel “Derivatives: The Current Regulatory Landscape” at the Financial Markets Association’s (FMA) 2017 Treasury and Capital Markets Legal and Legislative Issues Conference. The panel takes place on Wednesday, October 25th, in Washington, DC. Dr. Brown-Hruska will provide an update on NERA analyses of the cost and benefits of provisions of the Dodd-Frank Act, including swap dealer registration and reporting requirements, and highlight areas ripe for economic analysis and review. She will also highlight litigation and enforcement signals coming from financial regulatory agencies and areas for continued vigilance.
