Ms. Irastorza participated on the moderated workshop, “Auctions for Climate Results & Attracting Private Capital.” The session discussed the ways in which auctions—a tool which is increasing in popularity worldwide—can maximize efficiency, transparency, and climate impact per public dollar while catalyzing private investment in low-carbon technologies. The panel of experts reflected on the use of auctions as a tool to achieving development outcomes at scale while driving mitigation results.
