Managing Director Dr. Vinita Juneja will speak in the panel “The Proliferation of Class Actions Opt-Out Litigation: Prosecuting, Defending, and Settling Direct Actions” during the 5th Annual Western Regional CLE Program on Class Actions and Mass Torts, hosted on 22 June by the ABA Section of Litigation. Dr. Juneja and other panelists will discuss how to decide whether to opt-out of pending class actions; best practices for prosecuting, defending, managing, and resolving opt-out cases; and how federal courts handle their opt-out dockets in large class actions.
