Ivan Tasic consults on issues in commercial and antitrust damages cases, antitrust class actions, patent infringement allegations, and breach of contract disputes. As an antitrust economist, Dr. Tasic also has experience assessing the competitive effects of proposed mergers and acquisitions.
Dr. Tasic came to NERA from United Airlines, where he worked on projects with a direct impact on the company’s compliance, pricing, revenue, customer experience, and operational efficiencies. As a result, Dr. Tasic has deep knowledge and understanding of the aviation industry. Throughout his career, Dr. Tasic has advised numerous clients in the aerospace, business support services, construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, and transportation sectors. His background spans industrial organization, microeconomics, applied econometrics, forecasting, pricing, and statistical sampling.
In prior consulting positions, Dr. Tasic assisted domestic and foreign multinational companies in developing and defending global pricing strategies, including tax controversy, design of intercompany pricing methodologies, and valuation of intangible property. He has conducted business valuation analyses for companies undertaking ownership restructuring.
