Ivan Tasic is an economist who specializes in commercial and antitrust damages cases, antitrust class actions, patent infringement allegations, and breach of contract disputes. He couples his significant experience assessing the competitive effects of proposed mergers and acquisitions with a deep knowledge and understanding of the aviation industry to provide aerospace and transportation—as well as business support services, construction, manufacturing, and oil and gas—clients with economics they can trust.
Prior to joining NERA, Dr. Tasic was employed by United Airlines, where he worked on projects that had a direct impact on United’s compliance, pricing, revenue, customer experience, and operational efficiencies. In previous consulting positions, he assisted domestic and foreign multinational companies in developing and defending global pricing strategies including tax controversy, design of intercompany pricing methodologies, and valuation of intangible property. He also conducted business valuation analyses for companies undertaking ownership restructuring. Before entering consulting, Dr. Tasic taught undergraduate economics courses at Texas A&M University and Belgrade University.
