This Law Seminars International conference, held in Seattle on 8 May 2008, examined current and important developments in state and federal laws affecting class actions and class arbitrations, as well as innovative strategies to successfully litigate and meet the business and legal challenges of class actions. NERA Vice President Dr. Kristin Terris deliverd a presentation on the effective use of economic experts in class action litigation. Specifically, Dr. Terris shared strategies for plaintiffs and defendants for employing experts in the battle to establish or defeat Rule 23(b)(3) classes in antitrust cases.
