The American Contract Compliance Association (ACCA), a non-profit national organization dedicated to ensuring equitable employment and contracting practices with public and private sector institutions, held its 26th annual national training institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 14-19 August 2012. As part of the program, NERA Senior Vice President Dr. Jon Wainwright, who specializes in analyzing the effects of discrimination, delivered a presentation entitled "And We Are Not Saved: Empirical Evidence of Disparate Treatment Impacting Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses." Dr. Wainwright presented a meta-analysis of NERA's business owner survey research conducted over the course of 16 individual disparity studies performed between 2005-2012.
