The EUEC held its annual energy, utility, and environment conference in Phoenix, Arizona on 3-5 February 2014. On the first day of the program, NERA Senior Consultant Sebastian Mankowski delivered a presentation providing an overview of the macroeconomic prospects and implications of US liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports. In addition, on the second day Mr. Mankowski delivered a presentation entitled "EPA Regulations & Carbon Taxes -- Evaluating Relative Economic Impacts," which examined the economic impacts of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations on carbon emissions on a regional and sectoral basis throughout the US economy.
