18 June 2014
Hosted By:

NERA Associate Director Daniel Radov presented the findings of a NERA study on public financing mechanisms for fossil and renewable energies in Europe at a forum organized by Weber Shandwick in Brussels on 18 June 2014. NERA's research was commissioned by the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (OGP).

The issue of subsidies to European energy industries is increasingly controversial. Having reliable figures is becoming essential now, as the European Union looks at state aid, energy costs, and consumer protection policies. NERA's study, Energy Taxation and Subsidies in Europe, shed new light on this crucial issue. Mr. Radov presented the findings, discuss them with the European Commission, and welcome questions from the audience.
