Managing Director Dr. Sharon Brown-Hruska will speak at the American Society of International Law (ASIL) 2018 Annual Meeting, held 4-7 April in Washington, DC. Dr. Brown-Hruska will present in the roundtable “The International and Transnational Law of Complex Financial Transactions” on 5 April, discussing changes in regulation and market structure ten years after the financial crisis. She will also examine complex competition and proof issues in recent multi-jurisdictional manipulation and antitrust cases involving commodities and derivative assets.

The ASIL Annual Meeting is in its 112th year and is one the largest conferences of international lawyers in North America. The 2018 meeting’s theme is “International Law in Practice.”
