NERA Economic Consulting Announces Senior-Level Promotions

New York -- NERA Economic Consulting, a leading global provider of economic advice and analysis in business, legal, and regulatory matters, today announced that Benjamin Chee and Dr. Jordan Milev have been promoted to Vice President.
Mr. Chee is a New York-based member of NERA's Energy and Auctions Practices. Mr. Chee has a long history of working with utilities, regulatory commissions, and state power agencies in designing, managing, and overseeing competitive processes for energy and renewable resources. Mr. Chee is an expert on power contracts and credit issues. Mr. Chee has performed studies on the success drivers related to market incentives for distributed generation development. His work has also involved auction design for spectrum as well as commercial litigation and antitrust matters across several industries. Mr. Chee received his MA and BA in economics from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Milev is a member of NERA's Securities and Finance Practice, based in New York. He has been retained as an expert by both plaintiffs and defendants, and in both civil and criminal proceedings. His expertise has been sought out by parties prior to engaging in litigation, in the initial stages of a lawsuit, during mediation, at trial, and in post-trial proceedings. He has performed analyses relevant to SEC and Department of Justice investigations, securities class actions, private party disputes, and international arbitrations. Dr. Milev earned his PhD in economics from Yale University, where he taught sections of undergraduate courses in microeconomics and econometrics. He holds BA degrees in mathematics and in economics from Amherst College.
