The UK Government's Ten Year Transport Plan (10YP) was published in July 2000 for implementation beginning in April 2001. The 10YP was broadly welcomed because it offered a long-term framework for transport policy and this remains the case today. The Plan encompasses and integrates the contribution of all land-based modes, providing a commitment to long-term investment. NERA was subcontracted by FaberMaunsell to assist with preparing a report for the Commission for Integrated Transport monitoring the Plan. The report assesses progress so far in implementation.
