The Virtual Currency Regulatory Framework in Global Context

Consultant Trevor Wagener and former Managing Director Dr. Sharon Brown-Hruska published “The Virtual Currency Regulatory Framework in Global Context” in Capital Markets Law Journal. The article highlights how the US developed virtual currency regulation by applying existing commodities and securities frameworks, a technique not used in other countries. The authors also describe regulatory trends in the US from late 2017 through early 2018.
