Dr. Niraja Srinivasan, et al.
In fall 2020, the American Bar Association Section of Taxation’s Transfer Pricing Committee launched an educational outreach program called “Transfer Pricing: From Classroom to Boardroom” (TPc2b). The program was a first-of-its-kind curated mentorship program that pairs motivated law and graduate taxation and economics students interested in pursuing transfer pricing careers with in-house corporate tax and transfer pricing leaders. NERA Director Dr. Niraja Srinivasan and Elizabeth J. Stevens, Member in Caplin & Drysdale Chtd.’s International Tax practice, created and championed the program. Despite being launched on a pilot scale during a pandemic/remote work year, the program provided valuable experiences for both the mentors and mentees.
In a new article “The Future of Transfer Pricing”, Dr. Srinivasan and Ms. Stevens review the new educational outreach program for students interested in pursuing a career in transfer pricing with in-house corporate tax and transfer pricing leaders serving as the students’ mentors.
If you are a student interested in participating in the Transfer Pricing: From Classroom to Boardroom program, please reach out to the authors.
