On 23 August at 12:35 NZST, NERA Managing Director Dr. Will Taylor will participate in a session hosted by the Arbitrators’ and Mediators’ Institute of New Zealand Inc (AMINZ) Annual Conference 2023 to establish the true value in a dispute and likely commercial outcomes. The panel will discuss the role of experts in arbitration proceedings, the role of tribunals and parties in handling differing expert valuations, and how to help tribunals reach commercial decisions on quantum.

Dr. Taylor will be joined by Omni Bridgeway Investment Manager Gracey Campbell, Omni Bridgeway Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer Tom Glasgow, and Thorndon Chambers Barrister Robert Kirkness during their discussion, “Ensure the Game Is Worth the Candle: Deep Dive into Damages and Costs in Arbitration.”
