Serving as the Auction Manager for Basic Generation Service in New Jersey

NERA pioneered the use of the descending clock auction (DCA) for New Jersey Basic Generation Service (BGS) auctions. The DCA has been used to implement a state-wide auction that successfully procures the BGS load for four electric distribution companies.
