Examining Design Options for Future Offshore Wind Auctions in Germany

NERA reviewed legislative proposals concerning the future auction regime of German offshore wind for the Federation of German Offshore Wind Operators. We focused on the proposed financial bid component of new sites and showed not having a cap would significantly burden future purchasers.
