Advising a European Energy Regulator on Measures to Improve Liquidity in the Wholesale Electricity Market

NERA advised the European Energy Regulator on measures to improve liquidity in the electricity market, including contracting and hedging arrangements to help retailers manage the risk of high prices from the European energy crisis. We made recommendations on policy tools that could be used to promote liquidity in the market.
