Forecasting Peak Gas Demand on the Transmission System
On behalf of National Gas, NERA reviewed and updated the gas demand forecasting methodology it uses to estimate one-in-twenty year gas demand. Our work involved econometric analysis and simulation studies to compare the performance of different models to estimate the one-in-twenty year peak.
