Advising a UK Regulator on Proposed Changes to Its Financial Penalty Framework

NERA advised a UK regulator on the impact of its financial penalty framework, including assessing the deterrence effect of fines, the impact on firms’ financial viability, and the wider sector. Using our findings, we made recommendations on proposed changes to the financial penalty framework.
