Airat Chanyshev is an expert in general securities litigation, shareholder class actions, securities and business valuation, and investment management litigation. His recent work has focused on economic analysis and research associated with structured finance, derivatives, regulatory investigations, tax disputes, and bankruptcy.

Prior to joining NERA, Dr. Chanyshev worked as an Associate at an economic litigation consulting firm, where he specialized in complex domestic and international litigations. He gained extensive finance, accounting, and business analysis experience working at Deloitte and investment bank Renaissance Capital. Before beginning his business career, Dr. Chanyshev held a research position at Moscow University. He is the author of six academic papers in mathematical journals published by the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow University, and the London Mathematical Society. Dr. Chanyshev is also a Fellow of the UK’s Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
