Dr. Laura-Lucia Richter is a Senior Consultant in the Antitrust and Competition Practice and based in NERA’s New York City office. She provides economic advice in the context of merger reviews and litigation involving antitrust claims and commercial damages. 

Dr. Richter has extensive experience in pre-deal assessments and merger reviews in the oil & gas, energy, chemicals, technology and software industries.

With a particular focus on multi-sided platforms, Dr. Richter’s research evaluates the economics of firm and industry performance, pricing, business investment and innovation. She specializes in the application of statistical modeling and econometrics to these areas, e.g., to examine the antitrust implications of mergers in the context of multi-sided platforms, big data, and algorithmic pricing.
